Climate Science Threat To Wannabe Members of the LNG Export Climate Pollution Club Is Greatly Exaggerated

To dispel rumors that the Department of Energy, the gatekeeper of the LNG Export Climate Pollution Club, has been infiltrated by climate scientists, Divergent Dispatches offers recent photographs of giant ships that transport liquified natural gas coming and going from LNG Export Climate Polluter's clubhouses in Texas and Louisiana.

The rumors can be traced back to a directive the Biden-Harris White House gave the Dept. of Energy earlier this year that was described as an "ambitious climate action.” It directed the Dept. of Energy to review the club's admission policy - with the caveat it factor climate scientist's warnings about the need to stop cooking the planet- into account - and pause giving out new memberships until the review is completed.

If any climate scientists had infiltrated the Dept of Energy's ranks -since memberships come with a license to warm the planet -that all wannabe LNG export club members rely on - membership applications would already have been systematically rejected. And since current members of the LNG Export Climate Pollution Club have already began positioning the club to beat out other fossil fuel industry clubs in being the largest contributor to the climate crisis- any climate scientist that may have joined the Dept. of Energy's ranks would have already shut the club down.

Unless climate scientists do manage to infiltrate the Dept. of Energy soon, the impacts of climate change - including rapidly rising sea levels and a growing number of increasingly intense storms - will not only pause the growth of the LNG Export Climate Pollution Club's membership but also destroy the LNG Export Climate Pollution Clubhouses, making LNG exports obsolete.
